Pronto Vende
29/06/2006We had 3 runners at Royal Ascot last week, with both Forgery and Bayeux putting up very good performances in large fields. Forgery was 7 th in the Royal Hunt Cup, running on strongly through horses and Bayeux was placed 4 th having overcome the disadvantage of being drawn in stall 24.
This weekend we have quite a few horses out including a runner at the Curragh on Sunday.
We start off on Friday with 3 runners at 3 different courses. We have Pronto Vende (Adam Kirby) running in a 6f maiden at Wolverhampton, Shamila (Nicky Mackay) in a 1m 1f Fillies Handicap at Folkestone and then in the evening, Optimus (Jamie Spencer) in a 1m Handicap at Newmarket.
On Saturday at Newmarket, Nayyir will make his reappearance after winning the Diomed Stakes at the beginning of June. He will run in the Criterion (Gp3) with Jamie Spencer on board. He is very well in himself and we are hoping for a good run from him. We also run a very nice 2 year old filly named El Toreador. She will be making her racecourse debut in the Empress Stakes (Listed). At Windsor we have Cyclical (Shane Kelly) making his seasonal debut for his new owners in the totesport Stakes.
