Nimra at Lingfield
28/09/2006We have All the Good running at Newmarket on Thursday (today) in a 1m 6f Handicap. I feel that the distance and ground will suit him and that he will run well. On Friday we have King Joshua and Nimra at Lingfield. King Joshua runs in an EBF Maiden over 6 furlongs and is drawn 1 of 12 runners. This is a very good opportunity for him. Nimra steps up in distance to run over 1m 5f which should suit her and give her the perfect opportunity to break her maiden. All 3 of these runners will be ridden by Freddie Johansson.
On Saturday unfortunately Forgery will not be running in the Cambridgeshire which has been his aim all season, due to meeting with a setback on the gallops this morning. This leaves us with just one runner on Saturday, our 2 year old filly World's Heroine in an EBF Fillies Nursery over 7 furlongs. She is looking very well in herself and we are hoping for a good run from her. Freddie Johansson takes the ride.
This week I have been at the Goffs Million Sales in Ireland, where I purchased a very nice filly by Johannesburg for one of our owners. Next week I will be at Newmarket looking to purchase some yearlings from Part 1 of the October Yearling Sales at Tattersalls.
