Forthcoming race plans
08/02/2008Just to let you know our running plans for the forthcoming weeks….
Starting with Baharah, I am glad to say that she has come out of the Kempton race in good shape. We are waiting now to see if she gets an invite for the Godolphin Mile in Dubai at the end of March. We will make a tentative entry for the Winter Derby at Lingfield on March 15th.
Dansant will be aimed at the Winter Derby Trial at Lingfield on 23rd February. I have been very pleased with the way he has been training over the last few weeks. He has done very well physically over the winter months and if everything goes to plan hopefully he will get an invite to the Sheema Classic on World Cup night in Dubai at the end of March. We could also make a tentative entry for him in the Winter Derby.
I thought Jack Sullivan put up a much better performance yesterday at Nad al Sheba when being placed 4th. We are planning to bring him home this Saturday and we will make an entry for him in the Winter Derby but there is a strong possibility that he will get invited to the Godolphin Mile, but we will have to wait and see what happens.
Silver Pivotal has come out of her race at Lingfield in very good shape. She too is being pointed at the Winter Derby Trial which will hopefully lead to her taking up her engagement in the Winter Derby. There is a strong possibility that we will be well represented in this race. It is always a very competitive race but you also need a lot of luck in running.
Bonus seems to be very fresh and well after his busy few weeks. He is being pointed towards a Listed Race over 6 furlongs at Lingfield on 23rd February. This could be followed up by a trip to Wolverhampton on 8th March for a Listed Race called the Lady Wulfruna.
