Ebor and Northumberland Plate
10/11/2006After a season of more lows than highs, we finished off on a great note when All The Good won the totesport.com Willie Park Handicap at Musselburgh last Friday. He travelled well throughout the race and picked up nicely when asked. He will now have a bit of a holiday before being prepared for races such as the Ebor and Northumberland Plate next year.
Risque Heights also travelled up to Scotland with All The Good and ran a very encouraging 2 nd . He is by no means a straight forward character and after starting slowly had to pass the field before challenging the winner. Aside from this, we were very pleased with this effort.
Friday 3 rd November finished on a high when Bayeux won the River City at Churchill Downs. J R Velazquez took the ride and after being held up early on in the race, he finished very strongly to win by a length and a half. He will now continue his racing career in America for owner Michael Tabor.
Tomorrow we have She Knows Too Much running in a two year old maiden at Kempton. She is by Tobougg out of a mare that was also trained here called How Do I Know. We are hopeful of a good run.
Next week we hope to run a two year old filly called Thea di Bisanzio at Wolverhampton on Thursday.
We have 3 lovely fillies for sale which were brought at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales. Please see the Horses for Sale section of the website for further details. They have all been ridden away now and if you are interested in coming along to see them, then please give us a call.
