Dansant wins at Lingfield
29/02/2008Hopefully you will have checked our results for last Saturday and will have seen that from our trio of runners we had 2 winners and a third place.
Bonus ran a very creditable race in the Cleve Stakes to come 3rd, with the winner Excusez Moi breaking the course record, so we were pleased with his run.
Dansant ridden by Jamie Spencer, was our next runner and he came through strongly to win the Winter Derby Trial on the line. He was completing a hat trick of consecutive wins to take his tally up to 5 in all now. He has an entry for the Winter Derby but our preference would be to head to Dubai if we are invited out for the Sheema Classic.
Jack Sullivan completed our double and Jamie Spencer’s treble on Saturday by winning the Conditions Stakes in good style having only been back from Dubai for a couple of weeks. As I have said before, he has so many air miles now he just takes everything in his stride.
This weekend we have no runners, and the week ahead will also be quiet with just one entry so far for Dress to Impress at Wolverhampton. However our new 2 year olds are coming along very well, and we should have some nice horses coming out soon as the start of the flat season rapidly approaches.
