Washed Out

As welcome as the rain was a month ago, it is now beginning to get in the way of our horses running!
Zaina & Prince Alzain were lined up to run at Newmarket over Guineas weekend but unfortunately neither could run as the ground went from bad to worse. We then switched our plans for them to the Chester meeting, but again were unable to run due to heavy ground.
We have made an entry for Prince Alzain to run next week at Newmarket so fingers crossed we have a few dry days and some better ground to run on.
There are a few opportunities at Newbury & Newmarket next week for Zaina who has been in really good shape at home since her win at Doncaster.
On Monday we will run Bint Alzain at Wolverhampton in an extended mile fillies handicap. Raul Da Silver will ride her to take a valuable 5lbs off her back. The race conditions will suit her perfectly and she has been training well at home.
We have made our first 2yo entry for next week at Newmarket. Alan Spence’s Getaway Car has always been one of the more forward juveniles in the camp and Newmarket will be a nice introduction to racing for him. It’s in the back yard and a nice straight track. He is very good looking horse and has been pretty impressive on the home gallop.
