We have had a nice solid week here at Egerton House Stables making good use of the “Choke Jade” grass canter.
We are very pleased with Mount Hadley’s progress in his preparations for the Lincoln Handicap and Elliptical has also been coming along nicely.
We are still a little behind schedule in his training program, but ground and weather permitting he will be to doing a bit of faster work over the weekend.
Trojan Reef is in super form as he awaits his 1m4f bumper race at Newbury on the 27th March and has thrived on the grass canters this week.
Andrew and Beauchamp Viceroy arrived safely back from Dubai last Tuesday, and all being well he will now aim for the Winter Derby at Lingfield on the 22nd March.
On a more personal note, the Butler family will be moving into the Coach House located here at Egerton on Monday. I have learned over the last 2 years that it is far easier to move 40 horses and 16 staff than moving 1 wife and 3 boys!!
