TRAGIC LOSS OF BONUS

We received terrible news from Wolverhampton on Saturday as BONUS broke down in the latter stages of his race and had to be destroyed. Although it was not thought to be a serious injury at first, further examination revealed the full extent of his injury, a serious fracture to his pastern, which was beyond repair.
BONUS was a very popular horse, not only here with the people who worked with him every day but he had a huge following due to his success and consistency over the years. He will be sorely missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of working with him and who has enjoyed watching him run. He had a lovely character and his big friendly head was instantly recognisable hanging over his stable door. He leaves behind a huge void that we will never be able to fill.
