The Godolphin Mile
28/03/2006
I have mixed feelings following our time in the desert last weekend when JACK SULLIVAN finished third in The Godolphin Mile at Nad Al Sheba. Although he would not have beaten the winner, it was very disappointing to be nailed on the line for 2 nd place. Jack will fly back to the UK next weekend and I am looking forward to having him back in the yard.
This weekend we should have some action at home as Best Double has a couple of entries at Lingfield on Thursday. Although we have several horses entered at Musselburgh on Friday, I think it is unlikely that we will travel as they have a rather unpredictable weather forecast there. Play The Ball is also entered on Saturday at Kempton and is a possible runner there.
