We seemed to be playing the bridesmaid with our runners last week, with CONFIDE IN ME finishing second at Nottingham on Thursday afternoon followed by JUST LIKE SILK finishing second at Goodwood on Friday night. JUST LIKE SILK ran in a 0-80 handicap over a mile and one furlong. There was no pace in the early stages of the race and the Mark Johnston runner EASTERN ARIA took an easy lead and held on to win by a length and a half. JUST LIKE SILK under Eddie Ahern ran a good race in second and would have benefited from a stronger pace.

With Royal Ascot underway today, we are all very excited about the prospects of our three runners.  Our week begins on Wednesday with GOOD AGAIN in the Sandringham a Listed fillies’ handicap over a mile. Eddie Ahern is in the saddle and has been drawn in stall 2 of 21 runners. GOOD AGAIN has been in flying form and defied heavy conditions to finish fourth in the Betfred Silver Bowl at Haydock last time out. Conditions will be more to her liking on Wednesday and she is already proven on the track, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for her.

BEAUCHAMP XERXES had entries for the Hampton Court Stakes and the King George V Stakes on Thursday, but connections are favouring the Group 2 King Edward on Friday, which is over a mile and a half. Dane O’Neill has been booked to ride and all being well he will be declared to run tomorrow.
On Friday we have entered AGENTE PARMIGIANO to run at Newmarket, over seven furlongs in a 0-95 handicap. He was very badly drawn at Epsom last time out, but despite this he ran a good race as always, and should be declared to run for Friday.

On Saturday DANSANT returns to the turf at Royal Ascot in the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes over one mile and a half. DANSANT has been in fine form at home over the past few weeks following a short break in the Spring. Eddie Ahern has been booked to ride and we are looking forward to seeing DANSANT back in action.

Back in Newmarket AGENTE ROMANO and JADALEE have an entry on Saturday afternoon in a 0-75 handicap over one mile five furlongs.
