Silver Pivotal

The Winter Derby at Lingfield on Saturday is the climax for the All Weather season and we are all very proud and privileged to have a filly like Silver Pivotal running. It is also a great honour to be training her for her new owners Mr and Mrs Jacobs of Newsells Park Stud.
Jamie Spencer who rides Silver Pivotal, and I have been chatting about the race a lot over the last few weeks. He is seriously quite confident in the filly’s ability but it is one of those races you need quite a lot of luck in running so lets hope she gets her fair share of it tomorrow.
We finish off the afternoon by running a nice colt called Sundowner. He has come to hand quite nicely over the last few weeks and I was pleased with the way he worked last week at Lingfield in preparation for his race. I am quite positive that he will give a good account of himself.
