A promising start came from Quarante Deux this Tuesday after winning by a head at Wolverhampton.In a race full of experienced maidens we were hoping for a nice introduction for him, but were delighted and not to mention impressed when he pulled it out the bag to win under Nicky Mackay.
Over in Dubai, the trio are set to become a quartet with the arrival of Beauchamp Viceroy on the 28th January. Following his success at Lingfield almost a fortnight ago, he has been in flying form and we think he has more than earned his place on the track at Meydan.
William Buick rode Good Again out this morning, and was very pleased with her. He will ride her out again on Monday, and hopefully if he is available, will ride her in her race on the 28th.
Pat Smullen will be getting the leg up on Distinctive Image tomorrow & Monday for a spin around the track and will hopefully partner him on Thursday.
The lease for Egerton was finally signed today, so we will be frantically packing up the yard (whilst Gerard conveniently swans off to Dubai) ready to make the move next weekend.
