Pachattack goes for the Beverly D
19/08/2010
Dansant has come out of his race extremely well and we are looking forward to running him in Turkey on the 4th September in the Anatolia Trophy.
On the other side of the pond, Pachattack has settled in well at Arlington. She had her first day on the track yesterday and Andrew reported that she is in good shape and moving well on the surface.
Keiren Fallon has been booked to ride her and she has been drawn 1 from 10 runners. This is a good draw as there is a long run into the first bend. We understand that this is a highly competitive race, but we feel very strongly that she is an improving filly and we are hopeful of a good run.
I arrived in Arlington yesterday, and we are planning to pop Pachattack out of the stalls today, which I wanted to be there for.
Our only other runner for the week will be Elliptical who has a very good chance in the valuable Sunderland Handicap at Sandown on Saturday. We are looking forward to running him and he seems to be in very good form.
I will be back on Sunday and hopefully then heading of the Kempton on Monday where Sing Sweetly in entered in a valuable handicap on the all weather track, which she performs so well on.
We are yet to finalize riding arrangements, but this will be done shortly.
