Owner Day

We managed to see an improved performance from Stef & Stelio on Tuesday when he finished 2nd , only beaten 1 ¼  lengths  at Kempton. After racing prominently throughout the race it was a shame that he couldn’t make it to the post first, however, we are more than pleased with his efforts.

Dubai Bounty ran another race good despite finishing third beaten a nose and a neck. The 4th place horse was 4 ½ lengths behind her. She came from near the back with a late challenge and was unlucky she didn’t quite get to the line in time.  We have no immediate plans for her just now, but she will be back in action in due course.

Mount Hadley makes up our trio of runners for the week when he takes on 7 others in a class 2 handicap at Sandown on Saturday. We have put the blinkers on him to help him concentrate and the trip and ground should suit so we are hoping for a good run from him.

We would like to invite you all to an owner’s weekend on the 1st and 2nd May. It will be a very relaxed couple of days for you all to come and have a look around the new yard, see your horses and enjoy some light refreshments (or maybe something a bit stronger)! So come and join us from 10am onwards and if you are going racing then please feel free to come back after and see us before you go home.
