GOOD AGAIN DELIGHTS AT ASCOT

We were all delighted by GOOD AGAIN’s impressive victory at Ascot in the Bovis Fillies’ Heritage Handicap on Saturday. Eddie Ahern produced her two furlongs from home and she showed a terrific turn of foot to pull away from SECRET NIGHT in second. She has come out of the race very well and is being aimed towards the Sandringham at Royal Ascot. However she could take her chance in the Betfred Silver Bowl at Haydock on Saturday 23rd May, which is a heritage handicap over a mile.
MONETARY FUND made the journey to Thirsk on Saturday evening for a maiden over one mile. Paul Hanagan was in the saddle for the first time and looked to challenge two furlongs from home, but MONETARY FUND could not catch RUSSIAN GEORGE who led throughout, beaten a length by the favourite.
On Monday afternoon AGENTE ROMANO travelled to Yarmouth for a one mile two furlong handicap. The race was run at a steady pace and although AGENTE ROMANO was well positioned to challenge three furlongs from home, could not better his position under Dane O’Neill, with LOCUM under Ryan Moore the convincing winner.
JADALEE made his reappearance at Lingfield on Tuesday night in a one mile five furlong handicap under Neil Callan. He was held up at the rear of the field, but made steady progress throughout the race, running on in the furlong to challenge the leaders. Unfortunately he was touched off in the final stages but finished a respectable fifth behind winner ART MAN.
PACHATTACK headed up to York on Wednesday for the Group 3 Musidora stakes over one mile two and a half furlongs. Under Frankie Dettori PACHATTACK made the running, she was ridden four furlongs from home, but weakened and was unable to maintain her position, finishing down the field. We were all disappointed by her performance and felt that something is amiss with her.
We have no runners this weekend but the following entries for next week. JAGGER has been entered for Wolverhampton on Monday evening in a one mile four furlong handicap for horses rated 0-85.
On Tuesday PLATOCHE and AGENTE ROMANO have been entered for Yarmouth. On Wednesday we have entered BEAUCHAMP XERXES in a Listed race over one mile three furlong at Goodwood. We hope that ELLIPTICAL will make his reappearance on the same card in one mile two furlong maiden median auction race. PLATOCHE and AGENTE ROMANO have again been entered to run at Lingfield.
