Excitement Builds As Pachattack Prepares For The Beverly D

We are all getting extremely excited with regards to Pachattack running this Saturday in the Beverly D Stakes at Arlington Park.

Her whole experience in USA has been leading up to this weekend and we are all very much looking forward to it.

Her delayed reaction from the stalls seems to be a thing of the past these days so as it stands at the moment we are in tip top shape for the race.

F Geroux will be riding her once more and has been riding her work on a regular basis as part of her training regime. The race is due off at 4:33pm USA time which translates to 10.33pm UK time and will be shown on Racing UK. 

Beauchamp Viceroy is running this evening in an Allowance race. (Arlington Park) We hope he can build on his first run and we are confident that he will. I am very happy with how he has been training since his first run here in the States and he is very fresh and well in himself. His race is not on UK television.

Over in the UK, Little Black will be returning to the July course at HQ to run in a 1m 0-85 handicap. The race, although competitive looks like an ideal spot for him. He likes the track and the showers (although some heavy) will not inconvenience him. Dane O’Neil is booked to ride him and he will sport his usual tongue tie. 

We have some very nice 2yo in the ranks at Egerton House who are not too far from running. We have taken the patient approach with them as necessary which many young horses and we are just starting to see the benefits. They are lucky enough to be able to enjoy a few hours in the paddock every day after exercise which is invaluable in keeping them relaxed and not under too much pressure. We are hoping that in the next 6-8 weeks these young horses will not be too far away from a race.
