Burj Alzain Makes A Promising Start

30/10/2010

Pachattacks gallop over in Canada went very well. Her action was good and I was very pleased with how she went.
A week today she will participate in the Maple Leaf.
Burj Alzain has been the highlight of the week so far. What more can you ask from a horse than to win first time out?
He showed true professionalism and great potential and we are sure he has an exciting future ahead of him. We will be scouting the calendar once we know his handicap mark for his next suitable target.
Today, Beauchamp Xerxes will be making the short trip over the Rowley Mile to take part in a strong handicap there. He has been working well at home and we don’t think the easier conditions will hinder him.
Akhmatova will be making her way up to Wolverhampton this evening. I am sure her jockey, Paul Hanagan will be pulling all the stops out to get another winner under his belt in the final week of the season. She is well overdue a win and has been running consistently well, so hopefully she gets her just deserts this evening.
Dansant took part in a cub hunt this morning ahead of his race at Kempton next week! From what Harvey tells me, he thoroughly enjoyed himself! He came back in good spirits and covered in mud so they certainly looked like they had a good time!
