Best Double
02/03/2006
We started off the week with Best Double who was second at Wolverhampton and then went one better on Tuesday when Bayeux won impressively at Lingfield when upped in distance from 5f to 6f. On Thursday, Best Double came out again this time at Lingfield and only just failed to break her maiden when a fast finishing second beaten by the narrowest of margins. Ringsider makes his seasonal debut in a 1m4f handicap at Wolverhampton on Friday.
I am currently in Dubai with JACK SULLIVAN. We worked him on the track before racing at Nad Al Sheba today (Thursday) with Eddie Ahern on board. He worked over 7f and clocked 46 seconds flat for the last 1/2 mile. I am thrilled with his work. Eddie was very pleased with horse saying he has improved since his last race. Please God may he comes out of the work fine and its all systems go for The Godolphin Mile on 25 March!
