Bathwick Tyres Heritage

20/07/2007

The weather yet again has been unpredictable. Bonus did not run at Hamilton due to the rain softened ground and neither did Nayyir at Chester. This weekend we had been hoping to run Nayyir at Newbury in the Bathwick Tyres Heritage Handicap but due to extreme rainfall today, Newbury has had to abandon racing both today and tomorrow.

We did however have a nice double last week at Warwick with Nimra breaking her maiden over 1m 7f ridden by David Allen who had only 3 days before finished 2nd on her at Musselburgh. Rhuepunzel won her 2nd race for us under Hayley Turner to complete the double.

Looking ahead to next week, we have a few entries which will all be subject to racecourse inspections and ground conditions, and then the following week we look forward to Glorious Goodwood – and let’s hope summer will arrive in time!
