Another Week Closer . . . . .

Another quiet week here at Cadland Stables.
Our 3 Dubai candidates are in great form and on the right track.
Beauchamp Xerxes began cantering again this week after his short rest following his latest run and is having no trouble at all in catching up with the progress that Distinctive Image and Good Again have been making. He is looking outstanding considering the cold weather we have been having and I am sure he will be happy to see a bit of sunshine come January!
Distinctive Image and Good Again are ticking over nicely and we are very much looking forward to seeing them all shine in the sun.
Over the next few weeks we will start to slowly pack our bits and pieces together in preparation for the eagerly awaited move up to Egerton House. I am sure it will be a good opportunity for Andrew to let go of the mountain of unnecessary things he has stashed away in his racing tack room!
Our string of yearlings, including our 2 from the Distaff 3 partnership, are progressing nicely. We have been building their strength and stamina by giving them long steady canters behind Nayyir which they all seem to be taking in their stride and are still managing to find the time and energy to have a cheeky buck here and there!
This coming weekend, we are having our Christmas Party. It will be held at a nice little Italian restaurant at the top of Newmarket high street. It’s something we have all been very much looking forward to, and will surely put some Christmas spirit into those who don’t already have it!
