A Hopeful Week

Pachattack arrived home safe and sound yesterday evening following her success in Canada.
Andrew reported that she travelled extremely well and she looked to be very happy whilst having a well deserved pick of grass this morning! Plans for next year will certainly include more trips to the USA and Canada
Akhmatova went on to land her third win of the season at Lingfield yesterday when beating stable companion Sing Sweetly by just over a length. The conditions of the race were a golden opportunity for fillies this time of year and the best we could do was finish first and second!
Obviously we were delighted for both fillies to still be running so well at the end of a long year.
Quiz Mistress will be making her way up to Wolverhampton this evening to take her place in what has turned out to be a very smart looking maiden.
As you would expect she has done nothing but improve since her impressive debut at Newmarket in October and we are hoping with the experience under her belt we may find ourselves in the winner’s enclosure!
Next week Burj Alzain and Beauchamp Viceroy will be heading to Kempton.
With a 100% strike rate, Burj Alzain will be a threat to any other runners, and with the improvement he has shown since his debut, he will be the one to watch.
Beauchamp Viceroy has always been such a consistent performer and stable star. He has been working very nicely at home and the race conditions will suit him down to the ground so we are hopeful of another good performance.
