A good week for the juveniles

Quiz Mistress confirmed our thought’s that she is indeed a very smart filly when landing her first success on only her second start last Saturday.
We all watched her run with immense promise at Newmarket a month ago so it was no real surprise to see her go on to win. Her stamina played a huge part in this 9 furlong maiden, and she beat a couple of very nice, progressive horses.
She will go for a nice relaxing break now, and be back with a vengeance next year.

Another impressive performance came from Burj Alzain who made it two out of two when landing a very smart nursery on Wednesday. He was the least experienced of the group of 8 runners, nether the less he went on to beat the dual winning Pearl Arch by over a length.
His next move will depend entirely on what the handicapper does on Tuesday, but one thing for sure is that we have a very exciting prospect for next season in Burj Alzain.

Beauchamp Viceroy was narrowly denied a win when nabbed on the line by odds on favourite Dream Eater.
Dictating the pace, he was the one to catch 3 from home and unfortunately for him, Dream Eater had the class to do just that.
We were thrilled with another solid performance from him and he will be seen in action again before long.
